Research On Benchmarking Management Of Tiantan Furniture Factory

With the development of global economic integration, most enterprises are more and more competitive, as a new business model, Benchmarking Management caused the emergence of global enterprises to follow. Benchmarking Management is abroad in the 20th century since the late 80s. it is used in the world 500 enterprises Extensively. But the development of Benchmarking Management in China is not fully applied except in electric power, and the model also needs to improve.In this context, this paper introduces the concept of Benchmarking Management, and did a case about Tiantan Furniture Factory (Units for the author). Include the following:the formulation of the standard management objectives, the units and the establishment of benchmark units in the two databases, and index system, evaluation system and differences in organization and management system construction. To sum up, the author makes some effective comments and suggestions for the internal management.Innovation of this paper is to introduce the concept of Benchmarking management to furniture industry, which fills furniture market gaps. Through establishing of a database between Tiantan Furniture Factory and benchmarking enterprise, the author launches a process of benchmarking management, which can help other companies even other industries to learn.
