Research On Promote Measures Of Benchmarking In Jilin Petrochemical Company

Nowadays,with the increasingly fierce competition in the field of refining and chemical industry,it is very important for every refining and chemical enterprise to find its own position in the complicated market environment,seize the opportunity to reform and innovate,and enhance its competitiveness.Benchmarking,as an excellent management tool and productivity tool,is widely used in all aspects of manufacturing and service industries.Refining and chemical enterprises can not only achieve business integration and innovation through benchmarking management,but also point out the way to achieve system reengineering.Since 2009,China National Petroleum Corporation(CNPC)has launched a campaign on comprehensive benchmarking management with refined management as the core.Although enterprises have achieved certain management and economic results through benchmarking,there are still many problems in the actual process of benchmarking.Through visiting and investigating the enterprises,it is found that there is a lack of Benchmarking Management Committee and promotion group.It also lacks of perfect benchmarking process even though there's elevation.Besides,there is a lack of training for benchmarking management with project implementers and junior staffs,and a lack of benchmarking management tools.As a result,the implementation of benchmarking can not be carried out well,the results of benchmarking have not achieved the desired results,and the gap between benchmarking enterprises is still obvious.Taking the benchmarking management activities of Jilin Petrochemical Company as an example,this paper analyses the problems and causes in the process of benchmarking from the aspects of organization,system,process and tools.Therefore,some measurements are put forward,such as setting up an enterprise's benchmarking and promotion committee,establishing a benchmarking management system,optimizing the process of benchmarking management,and establishing an information platform for benchmarking management.The purpose here is to help enterprises play a guiding role in the actual benchmarking,and further improve the theoretical research in existing refining and chemical enterprises benchmarking promotion measures.
