Study On The Development Models Of Macau MICE Tourism

The MICE tourism,the out come of the development of MICE industry and tourism to the certain stage,having great economic and social potentiality and favorable developm ent prospects,is called"gum on the imperial crown".It has a longer history and more perfe ct developing mode in many cities and countries.However,the MICE tourism of our count ry is still in primary stage.It has been became the hot spots in recent years in the eyes of domestic tourism researchers.On the base of summarizing the present relevant MICE tourism literatures of domes-tic and abroad,this paper explained the theoretical foundation of MICE tourism,and propo sed some useful ideas for Macau by concluding the typical development models of MICE in domestic and abroad.Then this paper fabriced the models of Macau MICE tourism by analysing the strength and weakness,the opportunity and thread.In the end,this paper pro-posed the corresponding countermeasures of Macau MICE tourism.This paper was divid-ed into 6 Parts:Part 1 Introduction:This part summarized the background, purpose and significance of the topic selection,and also introduced this paper's main research method and frameworkPart 2 Research studies reviewed at home and abroad, mainly on the development of do-mestic and international MICE tourism survey and research results are analyzed, and pre-sented research reviewed. Part 3 MICE basic theory,the mechanism resulting from the MICE paper elaborates the concept and characteristics of MICE tourism, pointed out that the significance of the development of MICE tourism and development theory. Part 4 Reference of typical domestic and international MICE tourism development model.This part not only analyzed to some of the typical development patterns,such as Germany,the United States,Singapore Etc,but also summarized the experience of domestic developme- nt of MICE tourism,such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and finally through com-pared with the different MICE model at home and abroad, this part gave some enlighten-ments to the development of Macau MICE. Part 5 Construction of the Macao's MICE model and Development Strategy pattern, at first this part introduced the development of Macao's MICE status, SWOT analysis was carried out again, on this basis this part built a Guangdong-Macao cooperation "after the plant before the show" mode and "government support+tourism and gaming-led "development model, Finally, the development of app-ropriate countermeasures was given. Part 6 Conclusion and research prospects. this part Includes a summary of the full text, introduced the innovation and limitations of this stud y, further research directions for improvements were pointed out.
