Corporate culture has formed its own characteristics in enterprises under the background of ethic culture and moral culture. It is a culture which affects the thinking, experiences and behaviors of enterprise members. Corporate culture not only reflects the characteristics of production, operations, organization and management, but also reflects the strategic objectives, sense of community, values and norms through the material basis, products, and service of enterprise's production and operation. Under the help of corporate culture, managers can improve communication, relationships, and decision-making. Enterprise can create a harmonious atmosphere to meet an increasingly competitive business environment with the help of corporate culture.With China's accession to the World Trade Organization, as well as the integration of international economic, trade and economic exchanges between China and South Korea become more frequent. However, the research on the corporate culture of China and South Korea did not keep up the pace of economic exchanges between the two countries. There are few researches about the comparison of Chinese and South Korean corporate culture, and fewer about enlightenment of South Korean corporate culture to Chinese enterprise. Meanwhile, China and South Korea's economy and business environment are in great changes, and how to adapt these changes is a key issue.Therefore, it is necessary to analyze backgrounds and characteristics of South Korean corporate culture. By the analysis, we could comprehend the operation management concept and management model from different culture, and establish our own strong corporate culture based on others. It is necessary to establish corporate culture for enterprise to develop under the background of international competition.This thesis paper introduces the meaning, characteristics, and functions of corporate culture, and Geert Hofstede cultural assessing theory; It analyzes the history, causes and characteristics of China and South Korea's corporate culture; And It analyzes Chinese and South Korean corporate culture by using five dimensions of Geert Hofstede cultural assessing theory, and summarizes enlightenment of South Korean corporate culture to Chinese enterprise.
