For a long time, the resource city provides huge resource for country, and it has made great contribution for promoting the country's industrialization, accelerating the country's economy and social development. But because coal resource has non-renewable, with conducting of coal, the problem of resource depletion will face on day, this is a irresistible objective law. Long-term coal resources exploitation brought a series of negative consequences for city development, such as environmental pollution, land subsidence, water deterioration, it serious impacted on the coordinated development of regional economy. Industry is the carrier of urban development, city economy development is closely related to its industrial structure, industrial development. If it wants to fundamentally solve the facing difficulties and problems of coal resource city, it must speed up industry restructuring and adjust the industrial structure. Shanxi province is a big national coal, coal industry is the pillar industries of whole province economic development. Many kinds of coal enterprises pervade throughout the whole province, the number is large and it is secondary to the first. So, there has significant mean of researching Shanxi coal resource city industry transformation.From the present of Shanxi coal resource city, using the scientific development concept, sustainable development theory, industrial economics theory, based on field research and collected a lot of relevant information, it analysed the existent problems of Shanxi coal resource city. Based on analysed the problem causes, it quantitative analysed the Shanxi coal resource city industry transformation, it made the industry transformation as the cooporation of inputs and outputs, combined accord to scientific, systematic, comprehensive, principles of relevant quantitative and qualitative, and established evaluation indicators system of industry transformation. Using factor analysis method established the factor evaluation modle of industry transformation, though researched internal dependences of numerous variable and explored basic structure of observational data, it obtained the four mainly factors which impact industry transformation, such as economic integrated factor, environmental integrated factor, social integrated factor, science and education integrated factor. Used these four mainly factors'score determined the status of Shanxi coal resource city industry transformation and sorted them. Based on this, combined with the actual situation of our province and took examples from the experience of home and abroad in resource city industrial transformation, the thesis proposed many strategies, such as Shanxi coal resource city industry transformation principle determination, the best time transformation determination, transformation key determination and transformation model determination.The mainly task and innovation of this thesis: proposed the evaluation indicator of industry transformation, established the factor evaluation modle of industry transformation and specific industry transformation modle of each coal mine city.
