Research On Problem Of Peasant Workers' Employment In Current Chinese Urbanization

Urbanization is a unavoidable development phase in the modernization in any country. It's a universal law that the rural surplus labors are transferring from agriculture to non-agriculture and the rural populations are moving from villages to urban. The Chinese urbanization process is stepping into the right path gradually since reformation and development and entering the faster development phase after experienced so many difficulties. At 2008 the ratio of Chinese urbanization has reached 44.9%, which drops still behind the developed country and can not support enough the industrialization. So, it's an important job to speed up the urbanization in the modernization construction.After the reformation and development, along with the sustained development of Chinese economy, more and more rural surplus labors are moving to urban. The statistics show that in the end of 2008, the number of Chinese peasant workers is up to 225.42 millions, among them the number of outgoing peasant workers is 140.41 millions, and who become potential city inhabitants.Meanwhile, lots of factors which restrict the moving of the rural surplus labors from villages to urban exist in our country. Because of some current institution disorders, many peasant workers who entering urban to seek for a jot are facing more and more difficulties such as the salary arrears,hard working strength,narrow channel and scale of career and so on. All these problems make the peasant workers the second grade citizens. The peasant workers can not find any sense of ownership in the urban. They can not merge into urban. They can not be calculated to population of urbanization. If this situation is not conversed, the modernization in our country would not accelerate, and the gorgeous modernization blueprint would not be implemented.Therefore, this text gives an detailed analysis on peasant workers'employments issues in Chinese urbanization based on annually statistical information, and uses relative economic theories to prove the issues.
