Study On The Coordination Mechanism About The Sustainable Supply Chain Of Power-coal

Since the links in China's supply chain of electricity coal-electricity, coal and transportation-are separate and independent from each other with self-contained systems and lacking due synchronization. There is weak price conduction from coal prices and transport prices (which embody the scarcity of resources and the supply and demand of resources) to electricity prices, which worsens the discord between coal-supply and electricity-generating. This paper is based on the coordination of the coal-supply and electricity-generating and problems found in actual daily work. It adopts theories of supply chain, combines foreign experience and China's national conditions. The paper suggests how to promote rational development of the coal supply chain. The study shows that the major factors affecting China's electricity coal supply include:the uncertainty of the ecosystem of the supply chain; the instability of coal production; the geographic disproportion of coal production and consuming; the problems with the mechanisms of coal production, transportation and power generation. At last, we propose policy suggestions for a better coordination of electricity coal supply in law making, supervision and industry distribution.
