Along with the international price of oil continuous rising and the effects of modern climage change, international cooperation has come afoot in various fields of new renewable energy, such as solar, wind, hydraulic power and bioenergy and some achievements have been made.As two of the most active economic states in Northern Asia Area,China andSouth Korea are much larger in energy consumption in the world. Unfortunately,new renewable energy will bring their own problems on different levels,including season limit, restriction of region,transportation ways andtechnical development,etc.,making the further development of new renewable energy in signal countriesis slow or even hinder. Therefore two countries cooperation is the way forward.Following the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and SouthKorea, they have cooperated well on industrial issues. If it's possible for China and South Korea to develop further cooperation in new renewable energy, this will have a beneficial effect on their exchange of technology. Clearly, joint developments will also easily become accepted by the public.This article is about joint Chinese-Korean development in the field of new renewable energy, based on careful analysis on similarities, differences and problems, now comparing the aims of policies, laws, financial support and concrete measures of two countries.Secondly,on the basis of analysis on the field of cooperation market, and technological abilities of these two countries in the field of new renewable energy and analysis on their individual abilities in the fields of solar, wind, wave, tidal and bio energy with analysis focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of each country, it has been advised that these two countries should increase their bilateral cooperation through energy diplomacy, dialogue between the two goverments for win-win thinking, new model to widen cooperation fields, and policy of cooperation agreements to strengthen international cooperation and bilateral cooperation.Lastly, taking Korean Gyeonggi-Do and Chinese Liaoning province for instance, the prospect of future cooperation is described and some detail cooperation projects and some policy of cooperation are given.
