The excessive development of some land may leads to the unreasonable structure of the whole city, which lead to the inefficiency of some intersections, roads and even the whole city. To deal with the development of the real estate of China, we have to change the traditional idea to purely increase the road facilities but to solve it by the research of the coexistence of the traffic need and the land use. Supply through the traffic impact assessment, to maximize the use of resources from existing roads to ease traffic conflicts.At the conclusion of this paper, a traffic impact assessment of research literature on the basis of an analysis of the existing domestic and international major traffic impact assessment and technical elements of the course of the study in order to learn from and applications. Discussed for land for location, selection and development of the general; on the Residential Area are classified and their residential areas to explore transport properties; of land for development and the interaction between urban transport. Living space against the traffic impact assessment process are the analytical points. The extent of its traffic impact, the paper will be divided into four levels, the choice of appropriate indicators and assessment to empower the use of improved AHP method to calculate index weights of the basis for comprehensive evaluation of the matter-element model of the impact of the degree of calculation and assessment. Finally, an example verified.
