The empirical study of animation market is one of the important links in the process of research and development of animations and its derivatives; meanwhile, there cannot be seen sufficient research domestically. Therefore, this study aims at researching into the consumption of animation market, attitudes of consumers towards domestic animation products and the prospects as well as the condition of business in Zhejiang Province, especially in Hangzhou by means of questionnaires and interviews.The object of this study focus on the consuming behavior, consumption, consumer purpose, consumer motivation, consumption types, consume preference as well as the attitudes towards domestic animation products. The result of the researches on the seven aspects will be present by data tables, ranking tables, pies as well as histogram according to five different age groups of consumers. After analyzing the data, the author also provide advices and solutions to the operation of animation shops.The significance of this research is on one hand, to discover the factors which prevent the development of market of animation toys so as to reflect and provide solutions to the problems occurred. On the other hand, this research also tries to provide basis for the production, development of derivatives and marketing strategies through gathering information of consumers'needs and preference.
