Water is one of natural resources that necessary by mankind living and social production, and could not be replaced. The situation of water resources directly affected the developmemt of economic social and the improvement of peoples living level. It becomes the difficult point of China well-off target realization that the increase of per-capita water consumption. Water resources is a basic, comprehensive and strategy problem that affects the sustainable development of our country. Lack of water resources and water environment pollution are still the important limitation of our future iron and steel industry development. Facing the serious water saving situation of iron and steel industry, focus on technological progress and increasing the water resources overall planning, cyclic utilization. Thess become the key part for iron and steel industry to improve it's sustainable development ability.The large schale southwest dought, it's not only facing test to China water resources, but also bringing challenge to water saving. At present, waste water drainage of iron and steel enterprises in our country has already decreased largely than before, but it still large, this could not only waste water resources, but also pay large of pollutant discharge fees and affect adjacent water environment. It's not benefit for society and enterprise. From the view of iron and steel enterprise development in our country, if exterior drainage could largely decreased, we could realize the sustainable development of enterprise.In recent years, TISCO has been focusing on fully applying the scientific outlook on development, devoting major efforts to develop cyclic economy, and increasing water usage rate, decreasing fresh water consumption, realizing waste water reclamation, opetimising supply and drainage styles, carrying out dual water supply, dual drainage, dual treatment, hydrologic accounting etc technology. Fresh water consumption per ton steel decreased largely, supply the reliable water resources for enterprise to realize sustainable development.Through the resourch of this article to advanced experiences and technology of domestic and global advanced iron and steel companies water saving, combined with TISCO adjancant water environment quality situation and water resources situation of TISCO, seek and research the industrial waste water zero drainage of iron and steel enterprises actively.Bring forth new ideas by this article:(1) Give some suggestions to the water resources utilization of iron and steel industiral in our country; (2) According to the speciality of TISCO waste water quality and quantity, I propose to adopt the process: pretreatment unit+membrance unit+condensation & crystallization unit, adopt TMF membrance unit and traditional lime-soda softening to delete the hardness and heavy metal in the water, through the lime-soda softening and mechanical agitation, concentrate and separate in settling pond, delete 80~85% hardness of calcium and magnesium,95% heavey metal matter and organic compound threatened to condensation water reverse osmosis. Adding strong brine though lime-soda TMF unit and sodium-bed softening unit treatment, and then to strong brine reverse osmosis unit. At last spare strong brine would be evaporated and crystallized, then to produce condensation water and other salts; condensation water could be recycle and reuse, crystal salt could be snow melt agent or others in bags, to realize "zero drainage" in the end.
