In the 21st century, the key factor to obtain competitive advantage for enterprises is competent people, especially the science and technology innovative talents. Enterprises can obtain the required personnel depending on recruitment. However, another more important way to achieve competent people is training for the existing staff. Currently, more and more enterprises have recognized the importance of training and invest a lot of manpower, material and financial resources, but the training effectiveness is not satisfactory. The main reason is the training effectiveness is restricted and influenced by factors in many aspects such as the trainees'characteristics, external environment and training system.Through literature analysis, individual interviews and questionnaire surveys, this paper summarized organization factors (society support, application chance, organization atmosphere) and individual factors (study impetus, individual ability, innovation consciousness, self-efficacy, transfer motivation), which influence the training effectiveness for science and technology innovative talents. Moreover, the paper studied differences in training effectiveness of staff with different age, gender, academic qualification and job title.The study results showed:①organization factors and individual factors have significant impacts on training effectiveness;②society support, organization atmosphere, study impetus, innovation consciousness and transfer motivation have staple? positive correlation with training effectiveness, the other dimensions in organization factors and individual factors influence the training effectiveness through the above five dimensions;③society support and application chance have significant positive impact on organization atmosphere;④study impetus, self-efficacy and innovation consciousness have significant impact on transfer motivation;⑤individual ability has significant positive correlation with self-efficacy;⑥study impetus and innovation consciousness have important impact on individual ability;⑦society support has a momentous effect on study impetus, innovation consciousness and transfer motivation;⑧organization atmosphere has significant impact on the various dimensions of individual factors;⑨application chance has a significant effect on study impetus, self-efficacy and transfer motivation;⑩different age, gender, education and job title has significant impact on individual factors and training effectiveness. Based on the study results, the paper revised and established the model, which influence the training effectiveness for science and technology innovation talents.The paper firstly discussed effect factors of training for science and technology innovative talents, which is a high-value human capital group, and enriched the theoretical research on training effectiveness under Chinese context. The proposals to improve the enterprise training for science and technology innovative talents in the thesis will provide a useful reference for managers.
