Talent is the first resource.As an important investment of a hotel,staff training is an important way and inevitable choice to update the knowledge structure,improve professional skills,enhance the overall quality of employees,and enhance the cohesion and centripetal force of a hotel.In the long run,it is also the most profitable investment.Training is the biggest benefits that a hotel can provide to the staff.It is the main way to enhance the personal knowledge,skills and quality of the hotel staff,it is also able to reserve capital for the rotation and promotion of employees' individual positions.In recent years,the development of the hotel industry in Pingdu City is also facing too many pressures and challenges under the good development opportunities.From the whole picture of hotel industry in Pingdu City,the problems like staff training are not enough been taken seriously,the funds are not enough been provided,the training mode is behind the standard the overall effect of training is not good are getting more and more obvious.As a result,the lack of professional skills,poor adaptability and low overall quality of hotel staff have become bottleneck obstacle to the sustained development of hotel industry.This paper mainly uses the methods of field investigation,interview,questionnaire and statistical analysis to understand the construction,organization and implementation,Through the survey of staff training in seven hotels of Pingdu City,the training system,training resources allocation,training teachers,training needs analysis and training effectiveness evaluation were analyzed.From the three angles of the government,industry association and hotel,this paper puts forward some pertinent countermeasures and suggestions on five aspects,such as training concept,training process,training form and means,training demand analysis,training effect evaluation and so on.This paper hopes to provide some enlightenment and reference to the staff training of the whole Pingdu City hotel industry.Improve the personal quality and service ability of hotel employees,and then improve the service quality and reputation of hotel industry,and contribute to the sustainable prosperity of Pingdu tourism industry.
