Jean Baudrillard is an outstanding French philosopher and sociologist in French thinker fields. His works involving extensive field and is considered France's most obscure works and the most abundant creative post-modern theorists. Twentieth century, the fifties or sixties, with the rapid development of technology and economy, the basic structure of Western society has undergone major changes, from production-oriented society to a consumption-oriented society. From the Marxist theory and semiotic theory start, Baudrillard analyzed the perspective of a whole new ideology of consumption, creating a unique consumer ideology out of ideas. Baudrillard believes that the consumer society, consumption is an ideological stance to maintain the legitimacy of the capitalist system. Through false media, consumer ideology, infiltrate into people's unconscious from coding, on human needs and desires for control, but in its essence is the power of the ruling class strategy.Baudrillard use semiotics of consumer ideology, provides a new perspective for the Marxist theory of social criticism, and developed Western consumer theory and Marxist theory of alienation. However, because the limitations of semiotic theory and misreading of Marx's production of the concept, leads the decision to the outcome of the theory, losing its critical theory. Consumption Ideology of Baudrillard's ideas for our presence in this period build scientific concept of consumption and consumer culture in China makes important significance, to break character environment and building people-free and all-round development of a harmonious society and provide a useful theoretical exploration. Therefore this paper seeks to explain the system of consumer ideology, Baudrillard thinking elements in an attempt to build as our consumer culture with Chinese characteristics, the theory of reference.In addition to the foreword and afterword, the article is divided into three parts:Part I: Introduction the background of the formation of Baudrillard's consumption ideological thinking. First, it introduces Baudrillard's life and his thinking process. Secondly, from the discussion of social development was to start, expanding his thinking formed the background. Followed respectively describes the heretical roots which the thinking generated. Such as Saussure and Roland Barthes'semiotics thinking, Lefebvre's Critique of Everyday Life and the Marxist theory of social criticism.Part II: Describes the Theoretical form of Consumption Ideology, according to the order of the works of Baudrillard, explores the development of the thought of consumer ideology. First, describes the analysis of the matter system of ideology. Secondly,analysis about the ideology of consumption and the theoretical operation of the Mechanism. Finally, interprets the exposure of essence of consumption ideology.Part III: The Comment of Baudrillard consumer ideology thought and its significance. First, The Comment of Baudrillard's consumer ideology thought, and evaluated the theoretical contributions and limitations. Second, it interpreted the enlightenment of Baudrillard's consumer ideological thinking.Summary: Baudrillard studies the consumption ideology from the semiotic theory, provides a new perspective for Marxist theory of social criticism and set up for our health and harmony in the contemporary consumer attitudes and builds consumer culture with Chinese characteristics, providing a useful theoretical exploration.
