The Enlightenment Of Agricultural Products Logistics Development In USA To China

In recent years, how to increase peasants'income has given rise to much concern. Although agricultural production has been increasing year after year, but because of the agricultural products "sale difficulty" due to the poor distribution channels and serious loss in transport due to the poor cold storage and logistics technology, the farmers' income is inhibited to increase, which is,to a large extent, owing to the low efficiency of the agricultural products logistics. For example, our agricultural products such as vegetables and fruits lose much in the transport process, and the loss rate is between 25% and 30%, but it is controlled below 5% in the developed countries, even between 1% and 2% in USA. In fact, China's agricultural products logistics is still in its infancy at present, and there is a considerable gap between China and USA. But to develop the efficient agricultural products logistics means much to the farmers'income increasing, industrialization of agricultural operation and modernization of the agricultural economy. For instance, if we can reduce the agricultural products' loss in their transport process, the majority of farmers can add to their income even though the output of the agricultural products doesn't increase. Therefore, China can benefit from referencing to the advanced experience of USA to improve logistics efficiency in future.This paper is based on the deeply understanding of the agricultural products logistics gap between China and USA. First, this paper introduces the basic theory related to the agricultural products logistics and defines the concept of the agricultural products logistics in the article; Then, it comprehensively uses comparative analysis, normative analysis, empirical analysis, social survey method and other methods to study the status of the development of agricultural products logistics in USA and analyzes its achievements; At last, it puts forward some practical and feasible specific proposals for China to develop agricultural product logistics in the future. This paper includes 3 parts:Introduction, Main Body and Conclusion.Introduction. This part introduces the background, meaning, the status home and abroad, methods, emphasis, innovation, difficulty and the research system of this article. The innovation is to make a simple regression equation by Eviews5.0 through the dates of the total amount of social logistics and the agricultural products logistics in recent years, to reveal the contribution rate of the development of agricultural products logistics to the whole logistics industry.The main body is divided into the following parts:Part 1:Theoretical base of agricultural products logistics. First, the part introduces the main theory of this article, including transaction cost theory, supply-chain theory, third-party logistics theory and commodity circulation theory; Second, it analyzes the characteristics of agricultural products logistics, such as the significant seasonal and cyclical nature, high requirements for the technology and difficult logistics, value-added is important content and greater risks.
