General psychology says that psychological phenomena can be divided into three parts: cognitive, emotional and. Emotional reflects the relationship between the individual and the environment and the significance of the incident. Gorman, the doctor of Harvard University, put forward the "emotional intelligence" theory, commonly referred to as emotional intelligence or EQ in his book "emotional intelligence" published in 1995. Gorman believes that intellectual factors are of course very important in the successful elements of people, but emotional factors also can not be ignored. One's EQ includes: the ability to recognize their own emotions, the ability to properly manage emotions, self-motivation and self-development capacity, the ability to understand other's emotion, and interpersonal capabilities. The ability of emotional management is understanding themselves and other's emotions, carrying out, adjustment, control the emotions into healthy development. With the exploration of the modern industry management's theory, a large number of business management proved more and more corporate managers are beginning to recognize that the importance of emotion ,equals to knowledge, intellectual wealth and professional qualities .Nowadays business pays attention to the grievance's emotion widespread, and put it into the human resources development and management. Work ability is people's overall performance in the process of completion the work task. The needs of workers labor tasks are manifold, including physical needs, mental needs and social needs. To meet these requirements, workers must have the appropriate physical capacity, mental ability and social competence. Ability to work is closely related to professional experience, psychological state, the motivation of work, and so on. Therefore, the working capacity assessment is a very complex problem. In the 1980s, Finnish institute of occupational health made an assessment of the ability to work in an integrated approach, that is, work ability index (work ability index, WAI) method. This method is the ability to work with WAI as an evaluation basis, the index took into account workers constitute the physical and mental ability, psychological status, disease status, work demands, the measurement method is easy to study and provide a more effective tool.In the article study object is a car manufacturing company employees in Hefei, adopt a layering sampling of method, sample 180 employees, and carry on a questionnaire in anonymous way, the following conclusions:(1) The employees were divided into a total emotional management 102.5.(2) Employee the ability to work were divided into the total 39.64, in the work ability index 7, physical and mental ability to work on the highest scores; in work ability index 7 in work and life of the psychological state of low score.(3) Employee emotional management ability and employee capability do not exist significant differences in gender.(4)Employee emotion management capacity and employee exist significant correlation between the ability to work (P = 0.000).
