Harmonious and stable labor relations are the basis for building a harmonious society. The study of harmonious labor relations is an exploration to harmonious labor relations at the primary stage of socialism. Research and exploration of this topic will help reflect the true meaning and value of labor for workers, and provide ethical support for free and comprehensive development of workers; help the government to design a human-oriented labor system, to provide systematic protection for the realization of labor rights; help employers to fulfill their social responsibilities, in order to realize the value of workers. Therefore, the labor relations has long been the focus of academic research, and also focus of attention of governments and community.Harmony ideology has deep history and rich contents, harmonious labor relationship has its unique nature and scientific content, reflects general ethical values in human society such as the human-orientation, equity, justice and sustainable development. This article elaborated the general provisions of harmonious labor relations, the main structure, the main features and ethical values, reveals the various problems in labor relations at the present stage and how to solve these problems, and put forward a series of effective countermeasures for the realization of harmonious labor relations.Since China's reform and opening, with the economic system and ownership restructuring, China has developed a series of laws and regulations to protect labor rights, put increasing emphasis to the improvement of labor relations and the protection of labor rights, and continue to take measures to promote fair distribution and promote the management for the workers'well-being. However, due to the basic principle of "Efficiency first and fairness second" in China's economic reform, problems of labor relations has become increasingly prominent. As for the labor relations at present, such problems exist as the unreasonable allocation, imperfect social security, imperfect labor laws, and frequent labor conflicts, the status of labor relations is still far below the requirements of a harmonious society, there are still a long way to go. This paper argues that to change the current labor relations and build a socialist harmonious labor relationship, it is necessary to take effective measures as follows: First, maintain and develop the socialist ownership and relations of production; second, develop socialist market economic system; third, improve labor organization consisted by the workers; fourth, is perfect the legal system of which the working right is the core; and fifth, improve the quality of the workers.
