Therefore, paperless trade is a new trend of the international trade.This article compared the paperless trading with the paper trading. Through the transformation and simplification of trade processes, we can improve transaction efficiency and reduce operating costs. According to the paperless trading development theory, there are three stages in the development process, and China is at the "growing" stage of the paperless trading. And China's close neighbor-the Republic of Korea is at the mature stage of the paperless trading, so we can learn a lot of experience from Korea. Through a contrast between the Korea and China, we have found the development obstacles of paperless trading in China.
