The media managers must think of this problem how to win the talent advantage for Media Industry, because the Media Industry is a knowledge-intensive industry, and human resources is key to the development of the Media Industry. Actually, an attractive and competitive benefits plan is a powerful tool to attract, retain, and motivate excellent employees. So the paper tries to introduce the flexible benefits plans to the Media Industry, discuss the benefits reform of China's Media Industry from a new perspective, and study how to design the flexible benefits plans for Media Industry.The paper takes the flexible benefits plans as a breakthrough point, analysis the introduction foundation in China's Media Industry from the theoretical and practical views, expects to establish a new benefits plans to adapt the development of Media Industry by the introduction of the flexible benefits plans, thus to make up for shortcomings of current benefits plans. On this basis, it systematically discuss how to design the flexible benefits plans from the three aspects which are the influencing factors and design principles, the specific design contents, the design mistakes and the proposals about avoiding misunderstandings.This paper argues that the Media Industry should comprehensively analysis influencing factors in the external and internal media to decide whether establish or design what extent the flexible benefits plans, and follow some basic principles to make it scientific and rational, for example fair, reasonable. And the specific contents of the flexible benefits plans design should include setting the goals, determining the application objects, the investigation and assessment of employees'benefits needs and preferences, the flexible benefits menu design, preliminarily estimating the costs of the flexible benefits plans, assessing the benefits limit of employees and formulate standardized management systems of the flexible benefits plans. Meanwhile, the paper lists four possible misunderstandings in the process of flexible benefits plans design, and makes feasible suggestions to avoid these mistakes.
