With the arrival of Knowledge economy, the intellectual property system is playing a more and more important role in the times. It has promoted an advance of technology and social development. All the countries in the world have paid close attention to the intellectual property rights. For adapting to the condition, our country has joined the World Trade Organization , and participated in the world protection of the intellectual property rights actively. At the same time , our country has proposed the country strategy of intellectual property at the right moment and made the grand goal of building the innovative country. In recent years, our country has made the significant development on intellectual property rights. But, because of the brief time and insufficiency experience, the consciousness of intellectual property rights has not formed in our country. There are not enough talent in intellectual property rights to conform to the social demand. Therefore, our country has to carry out the education of intellectual property rights and train the talent in intellectual property rights to adapt to the social demand. School is the important base of education. It should bear up the heavy responsibility of the education of intellectual property rights, and make great efforts to train student's consciousness of intellectual property rights and ability of innovating to adapt to Knowledge economy's demand. Therefore, discussing the education of intellectual property rights at school and perfecting the training system of the talent in intellectual property rights has not only theoretic value but also the practical meaning on the development of intellectual property rights in our country. In this paper, the author describes the current situation of education of intellectual property rights at school and summarizes achievements and existing problems on employing many kinds of research methods. On the base of the summarization, the author puts forward the principles and several perfecting countermeasures to structure a system on the education of intellectual property rights at school, and makes a few beneficial explorations of researches on the education of intellectual property rights.
