Analysis And Relevant Strategies Of Improving On Technical Efficiency Of China Automobile Industry

In 2008 the financial crisis spread to the real economy, and the global automotive situation has undergone great changes. China's auto industry is facing a more intense competition and a much broader market, which are both a challenge and an opportunity. In response to the global financial crisis, in early 2009 the Chinese government promulgated "The auto industry restructuring and revitalization plan", and then took a series of measures to encourage and support the China's auto industry, shows that the automotive industry is still the pillar industry of future economic growth and social development. In the face of opportunities and challenges, improving the overall level of technical efficiency of China's auto industry is the key of raising the competitiveness of products and achieving international competitive advantage, while the scientific analysis of technical efficiency, the study of technical efficiency enhancing-barriers factor as well as Relevant Strategies of improving is a prerequisite for achieving this goal.The technical efficiency of the automobile industry issues related to industrial organization and technical efficiency theory, the paper is to study the theory of industrial organization and technical efficiency, and select 16 cars listed company of Shanghai and Shenzhen as representative, applied multi-input, multi-output DEA (data envelopment analysis) empirically analyzed the technical efficiency of listed companies. The results of this paper have some practical value on that listed companies understand the situation of their own, analyze and improve their own, increase efficiency and improve the management of all; The study provides new ideas and directions for technical efficiency improving of china's auto industry, and the theoretical basis of Government to formulate policy on car industry.
