Influenced by traditional plan economy, the present motivation system needs to be promoted urgently. Under the instruction of motivation theory, the author reviews the company's status quo, and tries to construct a compatible motivation mechanism for the company staff, which suits the corporaton's situation as well as the market economy environment.Begin with the section, the article explains the background and objective the research, and describes the research principle and method. Then the author elaborates the related motivation theories. In the third chapter, the author introduces the present motivation system of Chemical Trade Co.Ltd.. And through analyzing the questionare, the author points out the problems in material motivation and nonmaterial motivation of the ocmapany. In the fourth chapter, based on all of the above, the author gives his solution about the staff's motivation. The solution divides into material and nonmaterial motivation system. Material motivation includes a more stable and incentive salary system as well as achievement assessment. The nonmaterial motivation consists of training system, promotion system and so on. In the fifth chapter, the autor discusses the system guarantee of the motivaton.
