The Tourists' Interpretation System Of Mount Emei World Heritage And Its Optimization

The World Heritage Tourism Interpretation System is the primary means of realizing the educational, entertaining and managerial functions of tourism as well as protecting the world heritage and the environment. The Heritage Tourism Interpretation System proves to be inadequate due to lack of planning and practice been lead by the Tourism Interpretation System achievements. In view of this, with Emei, the world heritage, as the subject of research, this paper tries to explore the scientific optimization methods of the World Heritage Tourism Interpretation System, and thus fulfill the its function and potential, also by these means the tourists can be guided to protect the heritage and sustainable development of heritage tourism can be achieved.On the footing of the current situation of heritage interpretation at home and abroad, this paper expounds the concepts like heritage tourism, environment interpretation, and World Heritage Tourism Interpretation System. Theories like humanistic tourism psychology, tourist decision-making behavior, communication and sustainable development of heritage tourism have been systematically reviewed. This paper points out the status quo and existing problems of Mount Emei Heritage Tourism Interpretation System on a field study. At the same time, this paper applies methods of descriptive statistics, and analysis of variables to make both quantitative and qualitative analysis of Emei visitors'interpretation requirement, and to discuss the Emei visitors'interpretation requirement characteristics and types. Based on researching the visitors'interpretation requirement, and studying on the composition and functions of the interpretation system, this paper proposes that the objectives of this optimization should be to enhance the visitors'experience, achieve heritage conservation, and disseminate the culture of the heritage. Besides, the principles should include satisfaction of tourists'demand, integrity of the interpretation system and integration of all the interpreting functions. Finally, this paper comes up with specific suggestions from the perspective of interpretive media, explaining information, the node and the management systems and so on.This paper proposes World Heritage Tourism Interpretation System optimization plan from the perspective of tourists needs for the first time. The optimization scheme which is designed according to the media, information, node and different need types of the visitor interpretation, has extremely strong feasibility. Research results of this paper can be used to guide the Emei Tourism Interpretation practice and improve the quality and management of Emei heritage tourism and can be widely used in many fields.
