Research On Rural Poverty Reduction In Hunan Province

As a global social phenomenon, poverty, which is caused by the development of unbalanced in the economic, social, political and cultural field and geographic conditions of natural ecology and human differences. Agriculture, countryside and farmer issues, as the important problems of national economic development, focus on the poor village and poor farmers. In the new period of construction of socialist new countryside, research on rural poverty in Hunan province, will help to accelerate poverty, achieve sustainable economic development, build a new socialist countryside and maintain the reform, development and stability.From the concept and standard of poverty, this paper has analyzed the theory of rural poverty and poverty alleviation. The historical evolution of the poverty alleviation and the achievements of poverty alleviation in Hunan province have been reviewed. The principal component analysis and path analysis have been used in analysis of the influence factors, and the international practice has been mentioned. To promote rural poverty in Hunan province, the government should increase rural infrastructure construction, strengthen the education training, improve population quality, and pay more attention to Non-governmental organization in the poverty alleviation. At the same time, a good alleviation system also should be established.
