Study On The Technological Monopoly And It's Influence

The monopoly of high-tech is a striking trend in the current globalization process. The essence of the implementation the monopoly of high-tech is to obtain the largest benefit, and the core is to keep the advantage of it technological monopoly.Such power is penetrating every technological corner. It is not only the problem of economy development and to control much advanced technology,may also jeopardize country's safety if the industry monopolized is of key importance to the national economy and people's livelihood.Therefore,studying technological monopoly and its effects to technological development has important realistic meanings to our country. That's the reason why we should undertake a thorough research on technological monopoly.The First part in this paper the monopoly theory is reviewed briefly,the meaning of the monopoly and the technological monopoly is analyzed and the technological monopoly is defined on the base of the global economy.To explain the view further,this article highlighted emphasized that the essence of the technological monopoly is to depend on technology advantage to control the technique resources and realize technology leapfrogging place, and the core is to keep the advantage of it technological monopoly, which can obtain the largest benefit.The second part of the thesis analyses its four main characteristics and forms. the article discussed the roading to btain the place of the technological monopoly Including three modes:technical Barrier to Trade, technological lock-in and technologic alliance.Then,The paper expounded the double influence,including the positive impact and the negative effects on the economy and society caused by the technological monopoly.On the basis of the characteristics and the negative influence of the multinational corporations's technological monopoly in China.The last chapter proposes the countermeasures that Chinese enterprises should adopt.our advantageous companies should take hold of the chance and set up multinational technologic alliances with Multinational Corporations at home and abroad. Multinational technologic alliances may include different fields,different links of value chain.Our goal is to set up fasterly our own Multinational Corporations and make our country to accelerate technology advancement and realize technology leapfrogging.
