Deng Xiaoping's Rural Anti-poverty Thinking

At present, China's new rural construction is in full swing, and has achieved certain progresses. However, rural poverty is still a major obstacle restricting the construction of new countryside. And eventually led farmers to prosperity.Second, there are other effective measures for the anti-poverty,which include implementation of the household contract responsibility system, development of township enterprises, promote the circulation of agricultural products, promote family planning and support poverty-stricken rural areas. In order to implement these effective measures,certain principles must be followed. For example, the principle of mobilizing the enthusiasm of farmers, the principle of coordination between workers and peasants, the principle of policy stability and the principle of a phased step by step.These principles did not only make huge contributions to anti-poverty program at that time, but also serve as an important reference to China's current construction of new countryside.With the impetus of these effective measures,China's anti-poverty course has made gratifying achievements. Grain production and farmers incomes have increased, while population in poverty reduces and the rate of poverty has decreased. Under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping's rural anti-poverty thinking, rural anti-poverty program has made tremendous progress in China.China's achievements in poverty alleviation in rural areas, not only reflect the superiority of socialism in our country, but also improve China's international status. Besides China's agricultural productivity increased and the worker-peasant alliance was consolidated. The cause of socialism become even more prosperous. Meanwhile, it's an important inspiration for China's current construction of new countryside. In order to avoid the recurrence of the problem of poverty in rural areas in the new rural construction, government should rely on science and technology, make good use of talents, and affiliate industry with other industries. At the same time, government should co-ordinated plans, implement democratic and open policy, and maintain the correctness and stability of agricultural policies.
