16 Kinds Of Tobacco The Spices Cigarette Migration Behavior

In order to meet different requirement, flavors were more or less added to cigarette for decorating/covering/harmonizing the smell of tobacco, improving the taste of cigarette smoking, so as to make the mainstream cigarette smoking aroma comfortable and exquisite. Especially, when design of low content tar cigarettes, which take action to reduce the content of tar, resulting in lots of aroma substance decreasing respectively, cigarette taste flavourless, fall short of fragrance, lack of vigor. Therefor, aldehyde,ketone and ester flavor monomers were investigated in this paper so that we can understand the disciplinarian of retention/transfer ratios for cigarette in storage and disciplinarian of transfer/the transfer ratios to filter tips during the smoking process well. In addition, it is helpful to enrich the database for flavor monomers, improve the selective and controllable level, achieve the adequate content and estimate the effect of flavor monomer exactly, provide technology support for quantitative analysis the content of addition agent, farther comprehending the influence of the flavor and making up the flavor for low content tar cigarettes, advance the research of flavor-one of the key technology in cigarette production to a new and high technology lay.Simultaneous distillation extraction coupled to gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was introduced in this test, the disciplinarian of retention/transfer ratios of sixteen kinds of aldehyde,ketone and ester flavor monomers in cigarettes which in store and disciplinarian of transfer of the mainstream smoke and the transfer ratios to filter tips of sixteen kinds of aldehyde,ketone and ester flavor monomers were determined during the smoking process. The orthogonal test was introduced to investigate the effects of different cigarette paper, tipping paper, wrapping paper and filter on the mainstream smoke delivery and filtration efficiency of the cigarette.The results indicated that①As their boiling points and the molecular weight increased, the retention ratio of the flavor monomers with the same function group increased.②Sealed system is in favor of increase the retention ratio and the transfer ratio in the filter tip of the low boiling point flavor, open preservation goes against the low boiling point flavor;③the retention ratio of the flavor monomers with the same function group was also associated with the preserving method, as their boiling points and the molecular weight increased, the transfer ratio in the filter tip decreased while they were sealed preserving; as their boiling points and the molecular weight increased the transfer ratio in the filter tip increased while they were open preserving;④As the content increasing, the retention ratio of the same flavor with low boiling point flavor with different content is increasing firstly and then decreasing; As the content increasing, the retention ratio of the same flavor with high boiling point flavor with different content is increasing;⑤As their boiling points and the molecular weight increased, the transfer ratios of TMP of the flavor monomers with the same function group increased firstly and then decreasing;⑥As the content increasing, transfer ratios of TMP of the flavor monomers with different content in mainstream smoke is increasing firstly and then decreasing;⑦As their boiling points and the molecular weight increased, transfer ratios to filter tips of the flavor monomers with the same function group is increasing firstly and then decreasing⑧As the content increasing, transfer ratios to filter tips of the same flavor with different content is increasing firstly and then decreasing.The results indicated that the air permeability of tipping paper and the pressure drop of filter rod were the most prominent and important influencing factors. Statistic software SPSS 11.5 was used to conduct multiple linear regression to get the regression equation of the transfer ratios of TMP of sixteen kinds of flavor monomers and cigarette paper, tipping paper, wrapping paper and filter on the mainstream smoke delivery and filtration efficiency of the cigarette. The orthogonal test is proved to be a shortcut, efficient, economical and veracious method to find the effect of the factors to transfer ratios of TMP, providing theoretic direction for the effect of the auxiliary component to transfer ratios of TMP of the flavor and saving the cost. Moreover, the effect of transfer ratios of TMP of the flavor and auxiliary component to tar in cigarette conduct multiple linear regression to get the regression equation of the transfer ratios of TMP of flavor monomers and the tar, R2 is match well, the method provided a good theoretic direction for the effect of the auxiliary component added to different tobacco leaves to transfer ratios of TMP of the flavor.
