TDI is one of the main raw material of the polyurethane. In recent years, the domestic TDIproductivity has increased rapidly. The industry shows the development situation of supplyexceeds demand and products surplus. From the summary of all materials we can learn thatTDI products market has entered the competition era that completely depends on technology,cost and quality. It will be a great test to the TDI device’s survival which is small scale and hasrelatively backward technology.In this paper, the author analysed and studied the5to8million tons/year TDI planttechnical revamping project of M chemical enterprise. This paper combined the dangerous andharmful factors of the production process and the production plant, determined the risk factorsof the project, put forward some opinions and suggestions of the safety productionmanagement in order to prevent and reduce the occurring of all kinds of safety accidents, andanalysed the reliability of main technology, process and device, equipment, facilities. Throughthe research, the author took the corresponding safety countermeasures at safety managementsystem, facilities, dangerous articles, production process, working environment, storagemethod, labor protection, etc.The study of this project is to break the long-term monopoly of foreign companies on thepolyurethane market in our country. After the completion of the project, it will replaceimported products because of the strong profit ability and good economic benefits. It also hasvery important significance to enhance the core competitiveness of the enterprise.
