Study On Imitation Cotton Effect Of Polyester/Viscose MVS Yarn

With the textile technology and equipment developing, more and more new kinds of yarn appeared in recent years. MVS yarn is more compelling as a new type of yarn. The research results on MVS are obvious at home and abroad. But the researches mainly refer to the fabric performance is seldom. Using the polyester/viscose MVS yarn to the development of new cotton-imitation production will help to reduce the consumption of cotton and increase the production efficiency.In this article, we analyzed the performance of eight different polyester/viscose MVS yarn. Weaved sixteen different MVS fabric in different weft density and the same organizational structure. To study their performance of imitation cotton, we designed the orthogonal experiment to explore the best scouring process of each test fabric. Tested the appearance and style of the refined fabric and compared with the cotton fabric. Consider the performance of the cotton fabric as the standard, we make the imitation cotton performance evaluation of the fabrics through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The final conclusion is:MVS yarn has double-layer structure. No matter how the degree of blended yarn is,polyester and viscose will always be in non-uniform; with the same raw material composition,With the yarn thickness decreases, the yarn fineness variation and the average breaking strength gradually decrease; the same yarn count, with the reduction in the percentage of viscose, the yarn fineness unevenness rate and average breaking strength decreases.The optimum scouring process of different MVS fabrics is slightly different. They basically are: the concentration of scouring agent 1g/L, temperature 100℃, reaction time60 min, soda 5g/L, sodium carbonate 1g/L, sodium silicate 3g/L, bath ratio 1:30.The test results of fabric properties show that drape, wrinkle recovery, moisture permeability, air permeability, contact warm feeling and friction coefficient of MVS woven fabric can be closed to the cotton fabric, even better than it.Using all above the performance indicators of cotton fabric as a reference,we make the imitation cotton performance evaluation of the fabrics through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Concluded that the imitation cotton performance of the fabric is the best. The warp yarn of the fabric is 40 s cotton yarn, the weft yarn is 30 s polyester/viscose 20/80 MVS yarn, warp and weft density is 669/10cm* 268/10 cm. We deal it with 100℃,1g/L scouring agent solution about 60 min.
