2050 Hot Strip Mill of Baosteel No.3 heating furnace has been adopted in the revamping process scheme of pulse combustion technology, Baosteel this is inside the first time in large slab heating furnace using pulse combustion technology. The use of pulse combustion technology for control of a flexible heating furnace in many varieties, small batch production condition will play a significant role in improving the flexible control. But due to the previous hot strip plant only the traditional period of amplitude control of double cross limit combustion technology, not on the pulse combustion process performance and experience accumulation. Therefore, corresponding to pulse control content need to be developed according to the transformation contents.This paper combines the characteristics of the actual situation of Baosteel 2050 hot rolling mill No.3 heating furnace and pulse combustion technology, research and development is carried out from the improved pulse combustion control precision, flexibility, safety, and solves a series of pulse combustion control technology in large slab heating furnace application problems. In the improvement of pulse combustion control precision, gas pressure through hierarchical control design, make the heating furnace gas duct size control according to the size of load on the heating furnace burning two status, and the size of tube pressure stability of switching without disturbance research, to ensure that the pulse heating furnace combustion of gas pressure in the condition of the field control stability, so as to ensure the pulse combustion efficiency. And use air, gas duct pressure adjustable, pulse action ON/OFF valve before burner, the boiler air fuel ratio, each pulse precision control technology of burning excess air coefficient is realized, the No.3 heating furnace oxygen content control precision has been improving, in order to reduce the oxidation loss, provides an important guarantee for improving the surface quality of product. In the play the pulse combustion flexibility, according to the pulse burner partition more, research and development of virtual control, to ensure that the model will be based on the heating curve adjustment optimization combustion length, dynamic partition from the logic control,20 temperature control, realize the dynamic preheating, heating and hot stage combustion control. At the same time, in view of the rolling line heating quality requirement, the length of flame control technology development of the heating furnace in different fabrics, different ways of factors under the influence of slab specification etc., as well as in the furnace width direction according to temperature with thermocouple pulse combustion control technology different, thus ensuring the slab reheating furnace No.3 of the heating can rapidly and stably achieve rolling line required temperature uniformity, realized "flexible" production control purposes. In addition, because of the pulse burner ignition and fire safety temperature, this paper also studies the high, low temperature in different control technology using different combustion modes, to ensure that the pulse combustion production safety for reheating furnace in Baosteel.This paper studies the pulse combustion control technology in 2050 Hot Strip Mill of Baosteel No.3 heating furnace has been effectively applied, so as to give full play to the characteristics of pulse heating furnace in Baosteel special production systems in case of energy-saving, high efficient and intelligent, effectively promote the successful application of pulse combustion technology of large slab heating furnace.
