At present, with mining process becoming more and more complex and the equipment becoming more sophisticated, the field sensor and execute equipment developing toward intelligent, informatization and digital direction, so the higher requirements are needed for concentrator monitoring and management level. Ore dressing process of the concentrator is a complicated control process, which is nonlinear, inertia and has serious time lag. Every parameters of each variable is strong coupling. So using traditional control method can not produce a good control effect to it. This paper designs an intelligent control network of the concentrator by intelligent control algorithm and the high performance of hardware and software and the monitoring configuration software, according to the situation of the concentrator.This paper first analyzes the technological process of crushing, screening and grinding classification in concentrator, and puts forward the control method of each control volume.On this basis, this paper introduces the fuzzy control algorithm. Using fuzzy control to control the amount of ore in ball mill and overflow concentration, this paper gives the corresponding language assignment table, the table of control rules and fuzzy control query table. The automated communication concentrator adopts the three level network structure,respectively, the field device layer, control layer and factory management workshop. The automatic control system is divided into a central control station(PLC station) and 2remote data I/O station. PLC main station is in charge of the whole factory automation electric equipment operation coordination, data and logic operation and communication with the host computer, PLC remote I/O station is responsible for collecting and controlling the running state of the equipment and instrument data. This paper gives detailed hardware configuration of each part, and gives the I/O signal acquisition point. In this paper, the software of control system is realized by using STEP 7 software, gives the PLC program control system part of the tissue block and logic function block needed, as well as the function block and their respective background data block. A detailed description of the system program flow control of the concentrator is given, including the main program flow chart, the ball mill feed control program flow, ore concentration control process of ball mill and spiral classifier overflow density control process. The key part of the implementation of control system to realize the fuzzy control, the paper also programmed corresponding ladder diagram.In the computer monitoring configuration software design of the control system,describes the communication mode of Win CC connected to S7 automation system. Design the process picture of the workshop in Win CC graphics editor, and co figurate the button and the I/O input / output domain. Configuring for record and alarm message archive, and the curve is displayed in the screen. Finally, set script functions corresponding to the login screen, realize user management and authorization. Using variable simulator running results show that the monitoring system has basically realized the control requirements of the originally scheduled.
