Highway Construction Project Environmental Impact Evaluation Of The Theoretic System Of Case Analysis

Though there are quite a few environmental impact assessments on highway project, few of them involves the post-assessment of environmental impacts. A serious of environmental problems appearing in the decision-making or running phases of the project can be shown through the environmental post-assessment. It can provide the reference knowledge for the management departments to make decisions scientifically.Based on the practical situation of the project management of road construction in China, the writer tries to seek a suitable theoretical system of environmental post-assessment for highway project. This paper focuses on the purposes, contents, procedures and approaches of the environmental post-assessment. With the practical case of Hang-Yong Expressway, it presents an analysis of the direction to establish the frame of post-assessment system for highway construction project in China.It is shown that the theoretical system of the environmental post-assessment for highway project in the dissertation is feasible. It also provides some suggestions for major developments in the future.
