In recent years, along with the development of China's textile industry, worsted spinning industry also had great progress. By technical innovation, quality of worsted spinning industry product and technical equipment steadily improved. Worsted spinning industry became one of the fastest-growing category of China's textile industry.Worsted spinning is combing abluent wool into strips, and then going into combed wool yarn after prepare process and finishing process of worsted spinning. The traditional worsted spinning process is very long, and the processing system is complex, unnecessary mechanical damage to fiber was made after top was repeated drafted and doubled.The process of traditional worsted spinning was analyzed, from top manufacturing to post-spinning, the role of each procedure was expounded, and the process flows was introduced.Effect of drafted and doubled in spinning was studied, combinling could improve yarn unevenness, but could make yarn coarsens, increased burden of draft; drafting could make the yarn fine, but produce new additional unevenness.Based on the theory of draft and double, shorten one process of fore-spinning of the traditional worsted spinning process is feasible. Experiment was done, the yarn unevenness was compared before and after shorten one fore-spinning process, the result shows, yarn unevenness was improved by shorten one fore-spinning process.Improving the traditional worsted spinning process, then improve the level of china wool industry, shorten the gap between advanced level has important significance.
