The compact spinning technology mainly has the air flow type,the mechanical type,the transformation type and the semi-compact spinning.In Jiangsu Sunshine Group,compact spinning takes 10% of the whole spinning,and the form of the compact spinning is the air flow type.At present,compact spinning technology has been widely used in worsted spinning.But the related researches are few.Therefore,this thesis is aimed at the worsted spinning technology of the compact spinning in Sunshine Group.(1)Investigate the reasons for the compact spinning problem,analyze the data according to the report over the years,compare the equipment performance and the advantages of the two kinds of compact spinning machines.By analyzing the respective equipments,finally Zinser compact spinning machines are chosen to be analyzed for their lower production capacity of producing fine count yarns.(2)The results show: when fine count yarns are produced on Zinser compact spinning machines,the machine speed is low,the production efficiency is low,and the broken rate is high.First investigate and train in the equipment maintenance,the implementation of process parameters,the quality awareness of the staffs and other aspects.Then the production speed and production capacity are improved by reducing the thick and thin places via adjustments of the process parameters.(3)The process parameters are optimized and verifed according to the test results.The test data is analyzed by using Minitab program,and the regression equations for thick and thin places of fine count yarns are obtained.Integrate all data analysis,the prediction formulae for thick and thin places of fine count yarns are finally obtained which can provide guidance for the production of this variety.At the same time,parameters that have little effects on the yarn thick and thin places are investigated from the point of view of broke rate,suitable parameters for producing fine count yarns are found and the process design is completed.
