In this paper, according to the ways of planning the construction project schedule and the research of the control process and methods, we take the SINOPEC Guangzhou Company 1 million tons / year catalytic reforming equipment project as the research object, decompose the project and do the logic analysis around the target of time limit for the project. The research is based on the milestone of schedule. We make the progress schedule by software, analyze the factors that influence the progress during the construction project, coordinate the relation between the factors, use the different ways to achieve the target of the progress schedule and make the progress come true at the same time of controlling the cost, safety, quality targets.The project was very difficult to implement in accordance with established plans, because it was unpredictability and always emergence be factors that affect the progress of the project. But using PDCA cycle method to dynamic monitoring of project implementation and follow-up program can be promptly found deviations both plan and actual, that progress be effectively controlled and management, according to different situations of taken different control measures, and make adjustments or updates to the schedule.The Schedule analysis and experience of the project, in order to promote the further development of Petrochemical Project management, accelerate the pace of construction projects and improve the effectiveness of public works, offer the experience that can be used for reference.
