Oxygen making is the important component of the steel industry, providing oxygen, nitrogen and argon to produce iron,steel rolling and other production, supplied an effective guarantee to improve the influence of oxygen enrichment on the bf productivity and molten steel refining. The centrifugal turbine air compressor system is the most important part of the oxygen making, its main function is used to increase the air pressure, provide raw air and energy to oxygen making process. Surge phenomenon is the most important factors affect the safe operation of turbine compressor, Over the years, compressor anti-surge control of the basic classical PID control, the compressor operating conditions for the mutation cannot respond, causing the compressor surging of parking, which affect the entire follow-up to production. Therefore, we must improve the current anti-surge control system to prevent the occurrence of surge.This paper at first introduces the application development status at home and abroad of the compressor anti-surge control. In the combination of all the existing compressor anti-surge control system solutions for the case, based on centrifugal compressor anti-surge control scheme for the purpose, this paper mainly introduces the main performance of the centrifugal compressor, and its properties and anti-surge surge control system analyzed in detail. Through a variety research of anti-surge plan worked out with the actual situation, the control scheme is used in the project, using FOXBRO Company's DCS system to achieve the control scheme, we first design a fuzzy controller to control the return valve, then design a self-tuning PID controller to control the sp should be anti-surge vibration valve opening to prevent vibration occurs.Since the centrifugal compressor anti-surge fuzzy control system has been put into application on Lian Gang's 1# 30000 oxygen unit. It effectively directs the operators to Observed changes in condition compressor. After a year running observation, the designed control system basically meet the control requirements and achieved the purpose of preventing surge occurs, and it can effectively reduce system cost and improve economic efficiency of enterprises.
