The aircraft assembling jig is a kind of important equipment, and directly affect the period and quality of aircraft production. In this thesis, how to use intelligent method in the jig CAD system is investigated, the overall jig intelligent CAD system and function configuration model are accomplished by case-based reasoning (CBR) method. According to CBR and jig's structure feature, mainly discuss how to represent jig structure, how to organize of case base, how to retrieve the similarity case. At last, a jig design algorithm model based CBR is put forward.According to the algorithm model proposed by author, the jig design software is programmed based on CATIA and Visual Basic language. The case retrieve and template design are achieved by Fuzzy sets theory and key nearest algorithm. The programme is developed on PC.
