In this paper, a research on the Virtual Machining System has been made deeply and an idea of reconfigurable Virtual Machining Environment is put forward based on the reconfigurable and extendable request of Virtual Machining System. Then a virtual machining environment hierarchical modeling method is put forward that is part and component model composing equipment model, equipment model composing environment model.In this paper, the modeling of part and component, the modeling of equipment and themodeling of environment are analyzed and designed in detail using object-oriented method.In addition, the technology of collision detection is discussed and a algorithm is putforward which combines the scan_clip algorithm and Bounding Box, octree algorithm.Indispensably, a database is designed which supposes reconfigurable Virtual MachiningEnvironment.According to the theories we have developed a reconfigurable Virtual RealityMachining System in our lab. A case study is also introduced to illustrate the VirtualMachining System's reconfiguration. |
