At present,the integration of the Internet of Things(IoT)technology and the manufacturing workshop has bring the production mode of the IoT-based manufacturing,and the machining equipment as the working machine of the manufacturing workshop plays a key role in improving the production efficiency of the workshop and reducing the production cost.Currently,the research on machining equipment is mainly focused on improving the processing capability of the equipment itself,and there is less research on the historical processing information of machining equipment.Therefore,this paper proposes an intelligent approach for machining equipment under the IoT-based manufacturing environment.The approach comprises two parts: firstly,a unified data interface is established for different computer numerical control(CNC)system adaptive layer,so that the functions of monitoring and acquiring motion control,state information and external interaction of different CNC systems are realized.Secondly,by applying the recommendation algorithm and analyzing the historical processing information of the machining equipment,the prediction of the processing effect of the machining equipment for the unprocessed tasks in the workshop scheduling is realized.It can improve not only the intelligence and automation of the manufacturing process but also the predictive capabilities with the accumulation of historical processing information of machining equipment.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First of all,the characteristics of the IoT-based manufacturing workshop is studied deeply.According to these characteristics,a communication protocol is designed to achieve the IoT between workshop equipments.On this basis,the demand for intelligence of machining equipment under the IoT-based manufacturing environment is analyzed.The overall architecture for the intelligence of machining equipment is proposed.Based on this architecture,the functional structure and model for the intelligence of machining equipment are constructed.Secondly,according to the characteristics of intelligence of machining equipment,the adaptation layer framework for different CNC systems is designed,including motion control layer,information monitoring layer and file interaction layer.The detailed design of the adaptation layer is carried out for the FANUC and SIEMENS CNC systems common in the production workshop.The results show that the designed adaptation layer of CNC system has a good compatibility when it acts as the unified interface for different CNC systems.Thirdly,the characteristics of historical processing information for machining equipment are analyzed.The evaluation model which machining equipment predicts the processing effect is established,while the evaluation system of forecasting results is established.Using the collaborative filtering(CF)algorithm,the prediction process of the intelligent prediction algorithm in the machining equipment is designed.The prediction of the processing effect of the machining equipment on the process of the unprocessed tasks is realized.The experiment under the IoT-based manufacturing is designed.The experimental results verify the feasibility of prediction of machining equipment.Finally,the test simulation platform of IoT-based manufacturing is built.The software development is completed for intelligence of machining equipment under the IoT-based manufacturing environment.The experimental verification is carried out,and the experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and superiority of the proposed method in this paper.
