It is a important item and a critical link to evaluate the quality of the maintenance of weapon equipment(EQMWE) in the procedure of the whole life management of weapon system. It is also a effective approach to guarantee the quality of the maintenance of weapon equipment and the reliability of the weapon equipment. So, to study the basic theories and the methods is crucial to EQMWE.Based upon analyzing the basic concepts of the evaluation of maintenance quality concerned with many areas, the definition of EQMWE is presented in the paper. After analyzing and introducing the procedure of the development of maintenance, the regulation and the characteristics of the parameters used for evaluation are studied, the common approaches used in the parameters system are shown, also. In additional, the normal quality wave caused by stochastic factors and the exceptional quality wave aroused for system factors are analyzed systemicaily. The influence caused by the seven essential elements, such as assemble craft, spare parts quality, material, personal factor, etc, is analyzed in detail. And then, six theories or means on the evaluation of maintenance quality are studied and analyzed in more detail. Finally, the parameters model is setup to evaluate the quality of maintenance. Either the theory analyzing or the reality has proved that the approaches presented in the thesis are correct and effect.
