Paper cutter is a kind of general purpose machining device, and it's not only used to process paper, but also applied to cut non-paper materials such as leather and rigid plastic. The capacity of device is required higher and higher in modern industry, so there is much practical value to develop high precision paper cutter, and it's important to research high precision servo controller in theory. This thesis is based on the practical requirements of a project item, and applied intelligent control DSP chip to design the servo control system for paper cutter, and the primary research contents and results are as follows:1. An experimental control platform was founded for getting the signal characteristics of input and output from servo system in order to seek the control scheme adapted to the system. The platform took Personal Computer as core, and realized the signal collection and control voltage conversion with abundant interface modules, and also used its enough software to debug the control algorithm. As a result, some actual problems in project are discovered, such as a system running status and pulse signal characteristics, of course many useful experimental results were gotten, which provided valuable reference for the actual control system design.2. According to the performance and precision requirements, the DSP is chosen as core controller. The hardware circuit of the servo control system is designed, which includes the power supply circuit, isolation circuit, digital to analog signals converting and the drive circuit, RS-232 and CAN serial communication circuit, keyboard anddisplay circuit.3. The fuzzy control law with variable proportional gene is researched. The self-adjusting fuzzy control law is proposed according to the dynamic performance of the controlled object. The experimental results show that the control law meets the precision requirements and has satisfactory dynamic performance. On CCS developing platform, several procedures were written, such as impulse counting, data communication in RS232 protocol and CAN protocol, as well the keyboard and display monitor.4. An anti-jamming and prediction algorithm is presented which can identify the motor running direction, eliminate interferential pulse, forecast and compensate the line displacement of the motor running.
