With the vigorous development of our national transportation cause, the volume of traffic and the increase of heavy vehicles, especially because of the overloading phenomenon in recent years, some common diseases begin to appear in deck pavement. It not only disturbs traffic safety, but also influences the beauty of the surface of the bridges; it also brings huge difficulty to the maintenance, and great economic losses are thus made directly and indirectly. Therefore, the issue of deck pavement is commonly emphasized by different circles in recent years, and the technology of deck pavement becomes a key and difficult technical problem in bridge construction.This paper begins with the research of the diseases in deck pavement, and analyses the different reasons that cause such diseases and provides some feasible measures and some norms in mechanics to control such diseases.Secondly, because the simply supported plate girder bridge are widely used in highway bridges, by using such a character, I use MIDAS/ Civil finite element method to establish the three dimensional entity unit calculating model of the assembling type of prestressed concrete hollow board bridge, including deck pavement. Moreover, by analyzing the stress-bearing character of deck pavement under loaded vehicles, I have fixed the most unfavorable positions of loading in both horizontal and vertical. By calculating the stress-bearing states of the deck pavement layers without the reinforcing mesh, I have studied the influence of reinforcing mesh to the vertical displacement and stress conditions of the pavement layer. The outcome after analysis shows that pavement of double layer reinforcing mesh can strengthen the pavement system as a whole, increase the stiffness of the deck pavement, improve the tensile strength of deck pavement layer, but it cannot improve the resisting shearing force greatly.In order to research the influence of the thickness of the pavement layer to deck pavement structure, this paper do the analysis by dividing them into three categories, namely, single-layer reinforced concrete pavement, single-layer asphalt concrete pavement and double-layer mixed pavement. The outcome shows that, for single-layer pavement, with the increase of the thickness of the pavement layer, the stiffness of the whole pavement system increases gradually, and the horizontal displacement and stresses of different kinds decreases. For double-layer pavement, with the increase of the thickness of the reinforced concrete pavement layer, the vertical displacement and the stresses of the asphalt layer and the reinforced concrete pavement layer both reduces. However, with the increase of the thickness of the asphalt concrete pavement layer, the vertical displacement of the pavement layer and the stress of the reinforced concrete pavement layer both decreases, but the stress-bearing condition of asphalt layer become diversified.In order to explore the influence of the module of the pavement layer to the pavement structure, this paper analyses the three categories again. The outcome shows that, for single-layer pavement, with the increase of the module of the pavement layer, its vertical displacement reduces consistently, but the different stresses of the pavement of single-layer reinforced concrete remains about the same, the different stresses of the pavement of single-layer asphalt concrete reduces apparently. For double-layer pavement, with the increase of the module of the reinforced concrete pavement layer, the vertical displacement of the pavement layer reduces constantly, but the stresses of the asphalt layer and the reinforced concrete pavement layer both remains the same. However, with the increase of the module of the asphalt concrete pavement layer, the shearing stress of both the asphalt layer and the reinforced concrete layer changes a little, but the normal stress and the first principal stress of the asphalt layer increase a lot. After summarizing the effect of pavement's module on pavement structure, we draw a conclusion: the effect of pavement's module on pavement structure is little.The outcome by analysis of this paper can provide some guiding meaning to the design of bridges and the layers of deck pavement. Meanwhile, it provides theoretical reference to further analyze the deck pavement issues.
