Fangchenggang Container Transport Competitive Assessment And Throughput Forecast

Port economics is a type of regional economics that were integrated by shipping, trade, travel and industry near ports. As an important carrier of material and information, port economics has been thought as the engine for the development of regional economics.Hereby, some aspects that influence the development of container transportation were discussed on the basis of container market. The tendency of Chinese container market, the policy, the world market and the ports distribution in southern of China were analyzed in the beginning of analysis. On the basis of comparison of Fangcheng port with other ports in the southern of China, the competition was calculated with the comprehensive structure. The market position was acquired by the comparison analysis and competition with the ports nearby.At last, the container throughout of Fangcheng port was forecasted. In this section, the forecast model was constructed, and then the generation quantity of container was calculated. After the analysis of the transportation path from the port to its inland, the transportation network and transit assignment were studier for decreasing the transportation cost, all of there would lead to the most powerful competition.
