This paper discusses the reliability theory applying overhaul in the power plant. The main cause of the unit non-planed halting is the leakage of 'four- tube' from analyzing the reliability data of Anshun electric power plant. The 'four-tube' leakage causes are analyzed, and the preventive measures are given as well.Reliability-centered maintenance, the overhaul technologic analysis process of auxiliary equipment has been introduced. In this paper, the core equipment concept has been put forward in the partition of equipment system, the principle of system partition has been summed up; the leading fault concept and 'four step' method has been presented in appraisement. 'four step' method has been applied in analyzing the style of fault aftereffect in the core equipment and embranchment system, the overhaul styles adapting to the core equipment and embranchment system has been put forward accordingly. This paper has analyzed the overhaul styles of thermodynamics auxiliary equipment to serve as an example.
