Dynamic Protection Of Urban Renewal In The Historic District

This is a case study about the conservation of Yiyuan historic District in Hankou under city renovation. By referring to the domestic and abroad experience about the conservation of historic district and combining the present situation of Yiyuan district, This paper study the conservation and renovation of cultural heritage in the district from the aspect of history, actual state, and policy, to seek out the Yiyuan District's important values including history, culture, politics, economy and so on, exalt Wuhan's historical and cultural characteristics, and to keep the continuity of urban development.Hankou Yiyuan is the important district with the culture communion and impact and amalgamation of Early-Modern China and West. The paper is composed of six chapters. The first chapter is introduction. The content from the second chapter to the fifth one is the main body of the paper. It discusses the dynamic conserving tactic and method of historic district in urban renovation. And it studies the district's development, evolvement, district shape, and important history architecture, and researches the conservation planning of Yiyuan district. The sixth chapter is the part of conclusion.The paper analyses the actual problems and difficulties in the conservation of Yiyuan district. From aspects of cultural recourses, geographical features, urban function, community, civic engineering, and living conditions, it dissects the present conditions of historic district, and searches some deep reasons related to culture, society, and law. It also summarizes the main dynamic conservation patterns and methods of historic district, giving a fundamental and planning of conservation and recycles on Yiyuan. Aiming at the present condition, firstly it draws the principles and targets, and mark out the levels and scope of conservation. Also it brings up some methods to protecting the important districts and buildings, and recommends some policy and planning according to the conservation.Based on the analysis of the Yiyuan block's development and evolvement, and the research of the important history architecture, this paper expatiates systemically the historic value and meaning about this block. The paper brings up some planning and proposal of conservation and renovation, in order to offer the reference to the further development, make certain practical and factual meaning.
