With the vigorous development of Chinese shipbuilding industry, the requirements of technology for the ship have become higher and higher. And as an important component of the ship, marine propulsion system has attracted more and more attention by researchers, but comparing with the research in China of CPP propulsion system which has had more and more applications, the research aboard has many leading, especially some countries in Europe. So the CPP propulsion system needs deep research in China. Considering the reasons above, and the requirements of CPP propulsion experimental system of laboratory for school of electronic information, this thesis proposes the research subject.This thesis mainly designed a semi-physical system of CPP propulsion, including design solution of the system, modules of CPP propulsion, design and simulation of control algorithm, communication of the subsystem and control interface.First of all, this thesis proposed a design solution of the semi-physical system of CPP simulation system and combined the software and hardware. And the thesis introduced the function of each subsystem.Secondly, after analyzing the internal structure of CPP propulsion system deeply, this thesis presented a mathematical model of craft's propulsion system based on MATLAB-SIMULINK. Besides, this thesis worked out the RBF-PID controller, PSO-Fuzzy controller, traditional PID controller and normal fuzzy controller based on MATLAB and applied these controllers into the system. Traditional PID and RBF-PID controller are used to control the pitch angle, normal Fuzzy controller and PSO-PID controller are used to control the ship speed. Besides, this thesis simulated and compared the effect of different controller.At last, this thesis introduced how the subsystems communicate with each other and the control interface based on IFIX. The communication between the subsystems is based on Ethernet, ControlNet and OPC protocol. Refer to the control interface of real ship, this paper worked out the control interface and added the functions of alarm interface and history alarm search interfaceThis thesis not only made the simulation of control algorithm and system but also compared and analyzed the result of simulation. The result showed that the simulation system could run stably, the control effect of RBF-PID controller to pitch angle was better than traditional PID and PSO-Fuzzy controller to ship speed was better than normal Fuzzy controller, achieved the good effect. Control interface could also show the information of rotate speed, pitch angle and so on and could control the system.
