Digital storage oscilloscope is the important time-domain measurement instrument in the modern electronic measuring technology. Its performance directly affects the level of electronic science and technology in China. Acquisition and Storage control system is the core circuit of digital storage oscilloscope, controlling the acquire and storage processes of the oscilloscope. The level of performance determines the capability of digital storage oscilloscope. Acquisition and Storage control system is designed in the FPGA. The FPGA of ALTERA can be dynamically configured, Therefore, The paper do an experiment for the application of the technology in the Acquisition and Storage control system design. First, the paper describes the principles of dynamic configuration and the overall framework of acquisition and control circuit. Second, the paper gives a reference way for FPGA project design under dynamic configuration. According to different working conditions of oscilloscope and status of each functional module, the FPGA project has been divided into the real-time sampling mode, Peak-sampling mode, the equivalent-time sampling mode and the roll mode. Third, detailed description and analysis for the circuit theory,block diagram and debug process. Finally, Analyzing the FPGA resource utilization of the four modes, Comparing the results of FPGA projects under dynamic configuration with the FPGA projects of traditional FPGA design, figuring out the values of dynamic configuration in DSO design. The wave storage control circuit in the DSO is the second points in this paper. The paper gives two kinds of storage circuit frames and details about the circuits design. Then, it compares the data waveforms of them, finds the application scopes of the two storage circuit frames. At last the paper puts forward a reference proposal for the design of storage control circuit.
