Pineapple Extract As A Feed Additive

Pineapple extract feed additive(product name:BaoJia-G) is a kind of natural plant agent.In order to invested the effects of pineapple extract feed additive on the post-weaning growth performance and immune function as well as broiler growth performance,immune function and flavor of meat,the tests were carded out by a trial of post-weaning piglets,broiler immunity hematology detection and improvement of chicken flavor quality.In order to verify the effect of pineapple extract feed additive on post-weaning growth performance and immunity function,63 thirty five-day-old weaned piglets which were healthy and with consistent weight,were selected and randomly divided into three groups for comparison test.In each group there were 3 replicates and 7 piglets in each replicate.GroupⅠwas the control group and fed with basal diet and groupⅡwas fed with complete feed,groupⅢwas with fed basic feed with pineapple extract feed additive.The results showed that groupⅢwas the best one and pineapple extracts feed additive could significantly improve piglets' growth performance and immunity function.400 one-day-old chicken were selected to verify the effect of pineapple extract feed additive on broiler growth performance,immune function and chicken flavor quality.Chicken were randomly divided into four groups(groupⅠ,groupⅡ,groupⅢand groupⅣ).In each group there were 5 replicates and 20 chickens in each replicate. These chickens were bred on ground for 45 days under nature temperature,humidity and light,freely intake and conventional methods for disease prevention.GroupⅠ(the control group) was fed with basal diet;groupⅡwas fed with complete feed;groupⅢwere fed with basic diet with of pineapple extract feed additive(500g/t);groupⅣwere fed with basic diet with pineapple extract feed additive(1000g/t).Test last for 70 days.The results were that pineapple extract feed additive could significantly improve growth performance,immunity function and chicken flavor quality.It's suggested that:Pineapple extract feed additive could significantly improve piglet and broiler growth performance;improve chicken flavor quality and immunity function.It's a brand new way to replace antibiotics by pineapple extract feed additive.
