One of the most key equipments in feed processing is hoop standard granulator, use of which advances the development of feed industry to the maximum extent. However, there are a great many issues in practical application, such as stopping up in the process, electricity consumption fierce, productivity lower, control automation and so on.In view of above situation, studying the pelleting technics of hoop standard granulator, with the optimizing method of orthogonal experiment, was required. In cooperation with enterprise, the influence of experimental factors, including modulation-character temperature, frequency of supplying feed and velocity of loop die, which had influence on the productivity of making pellet and electricity consumption, was analysed. And the control system of hoop standard granulator using the parameter of the pelleting technics was designed. SIEMENS S7-200 CUP226 PLC as the control core was selected in this system, and the modulation-character temperature and current of main electromotor on-line was examined in order to control the magnitude of steam's proportion electromotion valve and frequency of supplying feed separately. Accordingly, make sure the system to the optimization extent under high efficiency.On the constructs of system, taking "IPC+PLC" mode, and taking the collection control thought as the instruction, the control system of hoop standard granulator was completed in this paper. Based on manual relay-control of the hoop standard granulator, PLC program with manual and automatic program was increased. In the control of steam flux and frequency of supplying feed, the input quantity fuzzification, establish and polling fuzzy rule list, output quantity distinction, parameter adjustable PID was added. Through the upper IPC, the real-time monitor of production, the dynamic demonstration, the accident alarm, production report was achieved in the system.After debugging the system, the results indicated the system had fast response speed, high adjustment precision, well steady-state behaviour, less energy consumption and higher productivity than before, and advanced the extent of automation greatly. Accordingly, a good basis for the design of new type and good performance granulator could be provided.
