The Motor Nerve Conduction Velocity (mcv) Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (dpn) Was Changed By Boosting Qi And Nourishing Yin, Quickening The Blood And Transforming Stasis

Objective:To investigate the improvement of symptoms and the motor nerve conduction velocity(MCV) in patents with diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN) by way of boosting qi and nourishing yin,quickening the blood and transforming stasis. Methods:Selected 40 type DPN were randomized to assigned to two groups. All of them were give the basic therapy of diabetes mellitus. During 8 weeks of basic therapy,One group were treated with decoction of Tong Luo Tang Tai (150ml tid),another group were treated by basic medicament and the Methycobal (0.5mg,tid).Clinical symptoms, MCV, fasting plasma glucose,2h postprandial plasma glucose and life quality were measured before and after treatment.Statistical analysis was performed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS).Results:The MCV of patients with DPN who was terat by way of boosting qi and nourishing yin,quickening the blood and transforming stasis were increased significantly.11 cases were markedly,8 cases were In effect, and 1 case was In vain by way of boosting qi and nourishing yin,quickening the blood and transforming stasis, Significant efficiency was 55%, The total effective was 95%.The control group 5 cases were markedly,10 cases were In effect, and 5 cases was In vain. Significant efficiency was 25%, The total effective was 75%.boosting qi and nourishing yin,quickening the blood and transforming stasis can obviously improve the clinical symptoms, fasting plasma glucose,2h postprandial plasma glucose and life quality.Conclusions:Boosting qi and nourishing yin,quickening the blood and transforming stasis can obviously improve the MCV of patients with DPN, and improve the clinical symptoms, fasting plasma glucose,2h postprandial plasma glucose and life quality.also can improve the developing of the people of DPN.
